 The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) is one of the most important exams for students aspiring to get admission into Engineering, Pharmacy, and Agricultural courses in Maharashtra. Scoring high in CET requires the right strategy, resources, and consistent practice.

Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)


Mode: Online (Computer Based Test)


Total Marks: 200 marks for PCM, 200 marks for PCB


Duration: 3 hours


Marking Scheme:


Physics & Chemistry – 1 mark per question


Mathematics – 2 marks per question

2. Syllabus


The CET syllabus is based on the Maharashtra State Board syllabus of Class 11 and 12.


Class 11 weightage: 20%


Class 12 weightage: 80%


Physics: Laws of Motion, Gravitation, Oscillations, Electrostatics, Semiconductors, etc.

Chemistry: States of Matter, Thermodynamics, Chemical Kinetics, Coordination Compounds, etc.

Mathematics: Trigonometry, Calculus, Probability, Vector Algebra, etc.

Biology: Genetics, Ecology, Human Physiology, Plant Physiology, etc.
